This site is FREE TO SUBSCRIBERS. Others receive four complimentary visits.
If you are a paid subscriber and have entered your ZIP+4 code and PIN number as requested by our system but have been unable to log on, you may be having difficulty with your computer's Web browser.
Your browser must be able to accept "magic cookies" for you to navigate this site properly. Third-party software that attaches to your Web browser can cause problems.
In current versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, select from the VIEW menu the item called PRIVACY REPORT... If the entry for the URL you are visiting (marionrecord.com, starj.com or peabodykansas.com) does not say ACCEPTED, click on SETTINGS... and change your privacy setting to MEDIUM-HIGH or lower, then click OK and CLOSE. Higher settings can interfere with access.
If you still are having problems, view the privacy report again, select a line marked BLOCKED, press SUMMARY, click the radio button next to "Always allow this site to use cookies," then click OK and CLOSE.
Hotbar, Safari and Yahoo Companion (or YComp) are among the add-ons known to interfere with "cookies." Other programs that may cause problems include so-called security packages and settings that promise to eradicate from your computer all traces of every Web site you visit.
We strongly recommend that you avoid all such software and settings. Not only do they interfere with legitimate "cookie" functions, such as those needed to visit this site. In some cases, particularly with such things as Hotbar, these add-ons can function as "spyware," silently gathering and disseminate information about you to various marketing companies.
First, try to enable "cookies" manually. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, on the browser menu go to Tools and select Internet Options, then the Privacy or Security tab. Adjust preset settings, if present, so that cookies are enabled or click on Advanced or Custom to customise settings for the Internet zone to enable same-site cookies. Click OK for each window and click Refresh on the browser menu when you return to our Web page.
Similar settings are found in Preferences in Netscape Navigator and other browsers such as Opera.
If you still are having problems, we suggest that you install the latest free version of Internet Explorer, which can be obtained directly from www.microsoft.com/ie.
If the problem persists uninstall any add-on software you may have installed.
If you have completed all these tasks but still are having difficulty, e-mail us or call us at 1 (620) 382-2165.
